There's two other facts about life, that are true, besides the ones about dying and taxes:

We're all in the same boat ... and no one is any better than the other.

Care to explain
@TakingBackMidgard We're all in the same boat in a spiritual sense. Our sins separate us from God the Father. However, our sins are forgiven when we ask Jesus to forgive them, and willingly turn from our old ways of life and sinning, to a brand new life in Christ...inheriting eternal life. Not all accept this, but that's up to them.

@LadyGrace eh, completely different from what I believe. My beliefs we are not born into sin. We are born to be the very best we can be. The gods don’t judge us for who we are but what we do. They don’t want us on our knees begging for forgiveness but for us to stand up and charge forth to conquer our problems.

But you do you.
@TakingBackMidgard That would be nice, but that's man's definition of what it takes to get to heaven. We don't make the rules. God does. Man's ways are just religious philosophy. Knowing Jesus, is a personal relationship. Religion never died on the cross for our sins. Jesus did.

Man cannot even save himself, nor stop wars, let alone save his own sinful soul. Followers of Jesus never have to try and earn, or work their way to heaven. Jesus did all the hard work of pain and suffering to pay our sin debt, on the cross. For that, we gladly come and worship Him and give Him the praise due Him. If it wasn't for him, we would ALL end up in Hell. In fact, Jesus said...

I choose Jesus. Jesus doesn't judge us, either. He said, "Come as you are." John 3:16 - He turns no one away.

@LadyGrace read what you just wrote but slowly
@TakingBackMidgard I did. When I added another sentence before that, it changed the meaning. Go read it now. Thanks for the heads up.

@TakingBackMidgard Then tell me.
@TakingBackMidgard ☺️ Well, what I meant by that phrase, was a personal relationship.
