On my own, usually. I've never shed a tear at a funeral, they always come later. Sometimes years later.
I was raised to be stoic and that basically means dissociate on command and appear okay in the face of any tragedy. Conventional wisdom says that's bad now so I'm trying to work on it.

@SwampFlower nothing wrong in that you deal with grief in your own way some can take it badly

My own way is to talk about the deceased and share stories about them with others who knew them. If I keep grief locked inside, it festers like an infection.
They were part of my life when they lived and they remain a part of my life after death.

It's hard to deal with the death of my parents. And for me to cope I try not to think about them for too long or I get teared up and cry again.

On my own for the most part.
My condolences, I'm sorry for your loss.

It’s surreal in a sense.
