So I juuuust turned 30. Is this the fabled "mid-life"?

So I turned 30 in November. (Yeah that's right. Scorpio baby!!)
And now I feel like my career isn't what I'm supposed to be doing. Being an electrician just isn't cutting it. I've taken laboring jobs the last year. Threw tires in a shop, worked in a warehouse for Amazon for awhile. Hell I even got on a suit and did door to door sales, which is what I'm doing currently. Shouldn't I have a career figured out by now? I just feel like I've beeen living someone else's life for so long. Is this just a phase?

@emPATHicwarrior33 I completely understand. If you could get some industrial networking and PLC programming knowledge, it is interesting work and pays well.

@emPATHicwarrior33 I work in a beverage container plant. Most of the technology is 90-00. We are a large global company and it’s a big undertaking upgrading to Ethernet equipment controls. It is a rewarding field.

@jaymic64 that sounds awesome. How'd you get into that? Schooling?

@emPATHicwarrior33 I started out as a mechanic. Got bored working on production equipment mechanically after a while. Went to night school and took classes. Now I do electrical repairs and do electrical system upgrades. This same thing is happening in automated manufacturing nation wide. And world wide actually. My company is building a plant in Brazil. The old is becoming obsolete. There is no other option besides build new plants. I think you would enjoy It and make great money.
