Have you ever thought about starting your own busienss ?

My brother had a small silver plated flatware replacement service, with a catalog he mailed out to dealers every year. When he tired of his hobby, he gave me all of his stock and I ran it for about four years. My best year I only earned about $4000.00. Gradually I discovered that most of the stock was undesirable to dealers and buyers, because the patterns were not in demand, and it was hugely expensive to find and buy collectible patterns.

I expanded that business to a small stall at a local flea market, and my son helped me. I liked that part best. It was fun. When I started the business I put his name on it along with mine, and he was SO proud of himself! He was adorable when he was waiting on customers. He had the natural gift of Gab.
