What are some challenges you think the next generation will face?

BlueVeins · 22-25
Climate change, overpopulation, bad mental health, and Fascism.
69TommyDe · 26-30, M
@BlueVeins Nah. It's Argentina cause I have family from my mom's side over there
BlueVeins · 22-25
@69TommyDe Sure, no Nazis there.

Knowing who's born female or male.
Competing with AI for jobs.
Lack of communication and interaction within the family unit.
Disconnection from what it truly meams to be human, face to face interactions with others.

Yes people are toxic nowadays and don’t know how to communicate at all @Keepitsimple
Lostpoet · M
A lot.

Global warming

Cost of living

Bad health because of the environment

Damn. The boomers really screwed my gen and we are too lazy to want to fix it. I say let the end of days begin. 😈🔥
Realizing they will be held to account by the next generations.

@Mamapolo2016 I'm not young but I am a little upset about how much easier you guys seemed to have it. It's like everyone got married, a car and house after they graduated high school. Now women won't even look at you if you aren't making atleast a six figure annual income.
@Lostpoet I'm not clear on how the attitudes of young women and the earnings of young men is my responsibility...but if it helps, be upset.
Lostpoet · M
@Mamapolo2016 I'm sorry, I'm only crying. But you did have it better than my generation.
@Lostpoet Primarily because we had a profitable war. There are a lot of folks who would have swapped the two-car garage for the lives of their brother or son or father.

Money was easier to make because there weren't so many restrictions on how it was made. Those restrictions have resulted in some good changes.

We also didn't 'need' as much as you do now, because there wasn't so much to need.
Lostpoet · M
@Mamapolo2016 I don't need much either it just seems like we work all day and end up with nothing but a Netflix account and a one bedroom apartment.
@Lostpoet That's how it was then when we started. Without the Netflix account.

Nearly every new advance adds to the price of goods. Right down to tamper-proof packaging.

But many men didn't expect perfect women and many women didn't expect wealthy men. Times change. Most did not expect to work 37.5 hours a week and prosper. We worked some ferocious hours. Or two jobs. The notion was that you earned money in your youth and enjoyed it when you got old. That has changed too.
No more trees ):
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Dewms Use Ecosia.
@BlueVeins does it rly work?
BlueVeins · 22-25

Dealing with the trashy policies and garbage/pollution the last two generations have pumped into nature that's changing our climate and putting us in so much debt

And I bet most adults still won't do anything about it
Just leave it to us to clean it up after them 🤷‍♂️
Reject · 26-30, M
Entitlement issues.
waynekerr · 51-55, M
Turning away from the smartphone or social media long enough to meet real people ... reality is in danger of going extinct
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Probably the same issues that have dogged the last three generations.
Poor politics. Poor economics. Lies masquerading as 'facts'.
curiosi · 61-69, F
How to handle a paper cut without a meltdown.
69TommyDe · 26-30, M
I think that there is a long laundry list for either the generation after Gen Z or eve beyond Gen Z. I think that the top challenge after deforestation comes over population.
REMsleep · 41-45, F
Lack of resources. Getting straight forward news and education with out so much agenda attached to it. A bit of moral crisis in terms of what is good, what constitutes normal, what is true. Fall out from AI. Economic disparities
BobbieT · M
Not depending on the government or their parents to support them.
Success · 26-30, F
No Star Trek
