I had a tiny business for a time, more like a hobby. It was a continuation of my brother's collectable silver plated flatware replacement service, of which he had tired. He gave his stock to me, and I had a lot of fun with it for about three years. I had a catalog, which I sent out to dealers across the country, and I really loved going to yard sales and flea markets to pick up new stock.
For two years, I expanded it into a small flea market stall operated on the weekends, where I sold lots of other collectable items and minor art, and just plain fun things. I also sold recycled "trash to treasure" items. I really loved repairing discarded items and making them into something valuable.
Because I was also working, it was a LOT...but I still enjoyed it.
