Why are some people loners ?

I can't speak for anybody else but for me I feel more comfortable doing my own thing.

Yes life can be lonely at times.
Yes there are times when it might feel good to be part of something I don't have to organise for a change.

But ultimately I don't get caught up in anybody elses dramas; I don't have to consider anybody elses wants or needs; I don't have the 'worry' of whether I should do or say anything to anyone about anything.

Life is just far simpler.

@Picklebobble2 It's better than being stuck in a dead thing too.
I wasn't alone in that situation and there was less manual labor involved. That was nice.😴

But I knew I was being fake. I was ashamed.
I would rather represent who I am, take it or leave it.

@EmilyEdith Yes life's hard enough with all the compromises you have to make with regard to people you HAVE to deal with.

I also think it doesn't do other folk any harm to realise they aren't the centre of your social universe and that sometimes your choice to be separate from that is a good thing.
