Ever wake up with a numb hand?
For the last 12 months, about once a week, I awaken with one hand numb. Usually the left one.
I finally looked up the reason for such, seems it's probably a result of nerve compression due to sleeping position.
Nerve compression happens when something (in this case, the position of your arms) puts extra pressure on a nerve. If your hand is numb, it's likely due to compression of your Ulnar, Radial, or Median Nerves.
So, nothing to become concerned about as full feeling is restored within 30 seconds of wakening and moving the arm.
