@Abood3033 I work everyday, walk an hour every working day, do piss all on saturday it's true but do at least 6 hours hiking every Sunday. I'm not idle. But sooner or later my joints are going to have enough and so will my brain and I want none of it.

I’m not quite as sure about when but when I can’t do the things I love to do I’m planning on disappearing probably at sea. I’ve told a few this some don’t believe me others know me . @Allelse

@Repete See there we go!! Another fellow intent on his leaving, and not simply waiting on. That's the spirit old fellow!! I mean once you take all that Christian guilt that's been enforced on western society for the last fifteen years or so, suicide really isn't that bad. I mean who has the right to tell anyone when they can and cant leave? And life being what it is, and being that life can turn bloody awful sometimes, what's wrong with decided well I've had enough and it's time to say goodbye.

@Abood3033 I'll be with my wife, she's the only other person I care for, or who cares for me.

My family has already gone except my daughter . I’m not going to be a burden on her. I’m going to live my life as long as I can enjoy it . My opinion is nothing wrong with choosing your death over a slow death with cancer or after a stroke . If I’m healthy I’m staying around.@Abood3033

@Repete Good man for making up your mind your own way. Bloody hell you should see the looks on people's faces though when I tell them my own plans, they make such a fuss. But the truth is, most people don't particularly like me once they get to know me so I don't know what they're so bothered about.

@Allelse ha - you say that now - wait till you get older and older - you will be going to the doctor - nobody wants to die. You may say this now but mark my word - you will want to live as long as you can - me too but with a healthy mind and body of course.

@MarmeeMarch Vegemite I've never been big on life, oh sure it has its fun bits but my life has not been fun and if it wasn't for my wife, who I adore, well I'd have been out of it a long time ago.

My friends or my best friends are few . Most people I know like me . I’m just weird this way if I know I’m going to die I’ll choose my time and way.
My dad died of a heart attack (quick) my mom died with cancer ( slow death) but she did enjoy life except the last few months, there’s no easy way for the people left behind.@Allelse

@Repete Well, besides my wife, my friend he's, well he's schizophrenic. So I dont see him anymore, he's isolated.

I'm sorry about your poor Mom, at least your Pops went pretty quick. My parents I know will go on and on and on. They're too miserable to die.
