I Have Praise for President Trump!

The president is expected to or perhaps has now signed the PACT Act today, a bill that makes intentional cruelty towards certain animals a federal felony. The bill passed with bipartisan support in the House last month, and the Senate on Nov. 3rd.

I had to be a political cynic, he doesn't do things just because they are moral and ethical. Prove to me there is no hidden agenda for him.
@samueltyler2 Exactly. Unfortunately, with him it’s always like waiting for the other shoe to drop. 🙁
@samueltyler2 "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others." 😳

@samueltyler2 I have little doubt, that he has never done anything just because it is ethical or moral.

@Piper didn't his son pose with a trophy animal he killed in Africa?
Piper · 61-69, F
@samueltyler2 Oh yes, and way more than one. Both Donny Jr and Eric are proud, enthusiastic trophy-hunters. They especially enjoy killing 'exotic' big-game animals, and have traveled to Africa to do that...more than once. Their father said this when questioned about his son's love of killing for sport:
“My sons love to hunt. They are members of the NRA, very proudly. I am a big believer in the second amendment. My sons are hunters. Eric is a hunter. He puts it on a par with golf – ahead of golf. And my other son is a hunter. They are great marksmen, great shots. I like to play golf.”
@Piper Typical that Trump would compare killing living, breathing creatures, just because one can, to golf.
And they represents the party who claim to value life ? It’s sickening.
Piper · 61-69, F
@bijouxbroussard Yes, that was quite notable to me...also. So is how people who call themselves "pro-"life", value the lives of embryos and fetuses incapable of feeling or thought...more than the lives of living, breathing sentient beings.

@Piper and vote against improving the quality of life of children, vote against expanding Medicaid, vote against funding day care, etc., etc.
Piper · 61-69, F
@samueltyler2 Yeah, and etc...😐
