I Have Praise for President Trump!

The president is expected to or perhaps has now signed the PACT Act today, a bill that makes intentional cruelty towards certain animals a federal felony. The bill passed with bipartisan support in the House last month, and the Senate on Nov. 3rd.

One of the few actions backed by Trump I could support on a personal, or indeed any, level.

Yet he has also made overtures toward overturning the Endangered Species Act, so that does rather undermine any connection to the above beyond, as you pointed out, his signature.

While I'm painfully aware of many things Trump has both proposed and done as far as environmental and wildlife actions/policies, I was glad to be able to praise him for [i]something[/i].
