To feel hurt at this

Guy friend was going through a tough time and would text me daily.
He met a new partner four months after being devastated after his wife left him for another man. Now on several occasions, he has said 'Sorry, I thought I had replied ' in response to my texts which he replies to a day or two later. All he seems to care about is his new woman.

Am I right to feel hurt that he no longer concerns himself with me now he is all better?

If he thinks he's just found the love of his life then it's understandable that she'd be at the top of his list.

The real questions is though if you thought he'd just found the love of his life too how would you feel about no longer being #1.

@ThePerfectUsername I am not even no10 on his list, I am right at the bottom. Yet I used to be up there at the top before she came along, he just used me.
