Do you have someone in your life that constantly disappoints you? Do you think it is intentional?

SW-User
Its not intentional its the difference of our personalities

That's the logical response

but on a day to day that shit makes me mad, like how can she be this idiotic 🤷‍♂️
No, I dont have expectations of others. They do as they will, if I can't hang, then I'm out.
@dragonfly46 Sounds like a life of no Hope's and dreams.
What does my hope and dreams have to do with expectations of others? Not following your line of thinking.

Yeah. I don't know if it's intentional, but more a symptom of their upbringing. They didn't have anyone to look out for them, so they only look after themselves. Their care is highly conditional, their time is dedicated to self-indulgence, their relationships revolve around their needs alone.

It's sad to watch, and even worse that I think time and communication will make it better. It's just the same cycle over and over

Yes, but I don’t think it’s intentional.

I used to. I don't think any of them intended to.

Yes, the woman I have called BFF for the past 3.5 years, I blame her crack addiction. I have lost track of how many times she said she would call or text, only to not hear from her again for close to two weeks.

Not anymore.
Yes, and I’m trying to get to the point where I don’t expect anything. But sadly, she’s gotten worse. 😞
It involves mental illness so I’m pretty sure she can’t control it, or only marginally.
