Do you think that jealousy is the main reason why someone feels compelled to bully someone else?

In some cases, but there could be a lot of reasons people do that

i think humans have a competitive even predatorial side and some people if they feel a weakness, a lack of confidence, they will see an easy pray, like a cat playing cruel games with a mouse he just caught.

No. I think people bully because it trips their pleasure centers in the brain to punish some one.

It can be. There also may be issues going on at home affecting the person.
