How to do this?

Had a nanny for three years who has stuck by my family after husband and I split. Generous and kind to my son who is 8.
She took an afternoon off work and I had to find alternative care for my son, I put him in an out of school club and he loved it and wants to keep going back. This then means my nanny is out of a job. How can I say this to her?

@GeniUs Just go to do what makes my son happy though . He loves her but really enjoys the club.

Yes but if you let her go (maybe you can stay friends/in touch/coffee now and then, however it works) you will regret it. Most people only think of the money.

@GeniUs I am not particularly friends with her but my son loves her. I know she does him too but this is what he has chosen

I guess she's just an employee then.

@GeniUs To me, yes. But I acknowledge she loves my child and has done a lot for him

Maybe a leaving gift...
