What is American cuisine anyway?

Can you live on American food alone? American food is so boring. Imagine if there was no Filipino or Japanese or Chinese or Korean or Mexican or Italian or whatever else kine food? Boring!

Well I grew up in an Italian family eating Italian food.

it’s not really Italian food. It’s italian American food.

Just like Chinese food. It’s not really Chinese food. It’s Chinese American food.

Just like Mexican food. The California burrito is from San Diego. Not Mexico.
