What is American cuisine anyway?

Can you live on American food alone? American food is so boring. Imagine if there was no Filipino or Japanese or Chinese or Korean or Mexican or Italian or whatever else kine food? Boring!

@canusernamebemyusername Whaaat? 😂😂😂
@SimplyTracie Oh gosh that would take a big explanation. Lol. Basically you're not allowed to have anything from another culture cause that is "appropriation" So no tacos. That is for Mexicans. No pizza. That is for Italians. Etc...
Basically people that scream appropriation are pro- segregation. They don't want cultures mixing.

@canusernamebemyusername Ohhhh, like immigrants must eat only American food? And they aren’t allowed to bring their traditional foods to America? You know that would really suck, right?
@SimplyTracie No they can only eat their native foods I meant. So the Irish only get potatoes. Haggis only for the Scots. Etc... No eating sushi if you aren't Japanese. And don't even try to wear a kimono. Some sjw's even go so far as to say you can't learn other languages because you are not say Hispanic if you wanted to learn Spanish.
But yeah. In my day it was called cultural appreciation. You eat their food and enjoy their culture because their culture is awesome.

@canusernamebemyusername Gotcha, I was backwards 🙄
I like your days concept better. 🥳🥳🥳
@SimplyTracie lol I think the only American food might be Native American. Corn, beans, potatoes, venison.
Ironically Chinese food was made in America I believe in California in the 19th century. Actual Chinese food is different.

@canusernamebemyusername California’s version of Chinese food isn’t Chinese food? How does that work? I guess we Americanize foods with our own flavors. 😋
@SimplyTracie And hamburgers are actually German. Although only places like white castle or Krystals follows the German recipe now.
