I am 48 and people in their twenties seen far stupider than we were at that age. I wonder if that is just age talking or if it's a real

If it is a consequence of too much bubble wrapping kids to keep them safe and they learn none of life's lessons. If it is a consequence of schooling being driven down to the lowest common denominator. If out is a consequence of the massive drop in books readper capita over the last 40 years alone. Are we actually becoming less intelligent? It certainly seems that way.

we are becoming more delusional and materialistic for sure. lots of new mental disorders for the big corporations to profit from and lots of needy/attention seeking fucks who hate themselves but want YOU to like them somehow
But I have more FB friends than you so there (sticks tongue out)

Things do seem different. Of course in our youth we didn't have social media, smart phones, online games, etc....

We went out and met our friends face to face. We built things with our hands and learned much by doing instead of Google. But I also felt my kids at their late teens and 20's had a wealth of knowledge that exceeded my own. While mine was more life lessons theirs was based on what they knew about the world we live in.

So I'd say the knowledge acquired is just different.
It's experience talking.
We were all dumb as dirt once apon a time.

I think we're just less experienced. But I don't know.
