Whats the best thing thats happened to you today?

@sunsporter1649 he doesn’t try to grab the bait on the hook does he? My sisters dog did that and had to have surgery .

@cherokeepatti No, Mrs. Jones does not play with my rod, but if I am using live bait she will get in my bait bucket and steal the minnows.

@sunsporter1649 My sister’s dog gulped down a minnow and the hook went into his stomach...it happened at night too.

@SW-User Mrs. Jones is most likely about half Muscovy, she has yellow feet, and is much to white to be full Muscovy. I got her when she and her brother were chicks, brought them home, raised them until they became to much of a hassle, then returned them to the lake. They both join me while I am fishing, chatting about the days events, and begging cheerio's and peanuts. Like Blackie, she responds to my voice, comes running up to me, will sit on my lap, and loves getting scratched on the back of her neck.

@SW-User I knew nothing about ducks until I started raising Mrs. Jones, and all the folks wandering by the lake were amazed at the sight of Mrs. Jones and me together. Thanks for your story too
