Does it good for being loyal all the time?

I'm not taking about affairs. Loyal with your family, friends and community.

Being loyal always helping your friend when they need your help, etc..

Watching GOT reminds me that loyal gets Starks got killed many times.

Ned, Robb, Catelyn, Jon Snow, (Rickon?),

It sounds stupid I apply this in my real life. But it's true, being loyal for long period time doesn't make you a better person.
You will being used for many times.

Stark House serves for Umber and Bolton for long time then they betrayed them.

Again, I am not talking about having affairs. 🤣

Loyalty is a very good thing...but as in all good things in life, loyalty has it's limits. If it gets you used, taken advantage of, or causes you back/support/participate in something that is wrong or illegal, then the loyalty needs to shut off.
