Will you eventually leave your home town or stay there forever? (reposted 05/25)

I left mine 31 years ago and have no desire to return.
A small country town, nil work opportunities, bad weather most of the time. Small town mentality, gossips, everyone judging.
Why would you not want to go out and experience the world beyond the Town/City boundaries?

Oh my goodness! My hometown is Los Angeles, California and I do not live there now. What I would give to see the mountains again, the white beautiful sand at the beach, the beautiful lights of the city, and the thousands of people!
