College Admissions Scandal! How many graduated already?

Horrible scandal revealed by the FBI. Elite universities like Stanford and Yale Law school, Boston College, Boston University, and more were targeted by wealthy CEO's and two Hollywood actresses who wished to purchase admissions for their children who were not worthy of admission.

An "Admissions Counseling Service" counseled wealthy parents on how to commit fraud with test scores and fake sports histories. This "service" also ran a fake charity, and the wealthy parents were told that they could donate the bribe and fraud money to the charity and deduct it from their taxes.

The FBI stumbled upon the widespread coast to coast scheme while conducting another investigation. This crime falls into the category of racketeering.

50 coaches, parents, CEO's and others who took tests for the unqualified students or altered them have been arrested by the FBI.

Qualified students were rejected because of the fraud committed, their futures altered.

Is it wrong if everyone else is doing it, though?

I think the answer is yes, but shouldn't the fact that other people weren't caught for doing the same thing be a defense?

@MistyCee no. People get away with crime, daily. I certainly cannot commit murder and expect a jury to accept a defense of "other folks get away with murder, so i must be aquitted".:)
@Carla yeah, I agree with you, really.
