How long would you survive comfortably if you lost your job?

I have not worked for 8 months now since my car crash. Savings are all gone. On Government Sponsored Sick Leave which has to end soon.

@Miklee02 Insurance only pays out for 6 months. That has ceased.

@Miklee02 That is a question I can not answer. My ankle has not regained strength after being broken so any job requiring me to be on my feet all day is virtually out. It swells after a couple of hours and loses strength.
