Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable.

It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means someone can get inside you and mess you up.

If what you're feeling and experiencing is horrible to you then that isn't love....
SW-User
@indyjoe it can be awful and great at the same time
indyjoe · 56-60, M
@SW-User I'm sure it can...but great has been my only experience for the last 15 years (nothing awful about it and never has been).
SW-User
@indyjoe that's nice. Maybe enjoy a different kind of love.
SW-User
@indyjoe I mean because people have different definitions for it
indyjoe · 56-60, M
@SW-User That could be part of the problem...people's ideas and definitions of it (people tend to categorize and set certain expectations-often too high on things). The love my wife and I have shared includes the physical and emotional, but it also involves every aspect of our lives and being. We are husband and wife and lovers yes, but we are also best friends, partners, family, and companions with each other as well.

@indyjoe why do you say it's a problem? It's ok to feel different because everyone is different.

@SW-User I didn't say that it was or is a problem...I said it could be a part of a (or "the" referring to if it is) problem. It has been my experience and observation that too many and too high expectations are often place on relationships as well as potential mates.

@indyjoe That's great that it's been wonderful for you for 15 and I really wish it lasts..

@LonelySoul There is no doubt in my mind (or hers) that it will...only death itself can seperate us.
