Why do people still believe in exorcism?

Even after it was proven modern medical and psychiatric treatment are far superior and clinical?

I respectfully disagree. I've worked with a few that's used all sorts of medical treatment for years and didn't get well until I intervened. And it wasn't psychosis, they were "attachments".
