Should people give up wearing glasses at a certain point?

Like, it would obviously be somewhat dependent on their eyesight, but assuming they had good enough vision to function without them. For example, I know several people decide to stop wearing glasses if they get braces because they don't like the look of both together. Also, many students quit wearing glasses when they're done with school since they won't need to read as much or when starting a new level of school (college, high school, etc.) due to either bullying/wanting to change their image, health issues like headaches, or maybe other reasons. A lot of people wear contacts too, but some can't and others don't really need to. Just wondering about everyone's thoughts on this.

Perhaps I should.

I think you should at least practice going without them sometimes then, more than just for reading.

I was tempted to do just that when I awoke this morning. Habit got the better of me.

You just need to get into the new habit of going without your glasses instead; you'll get there eventually.

I’m never giving up my glasses 🤓
Sure, especially if they're pretty blind without it. I look forward to seeing them walk into poles 😂

No because the sexy librarian look really works for me.

Dumbest idea ever.
Anyone who forsakes their health over their desire to be seen as 'pretty/handsome' clearly doesn't have the intelligence they ought to have.
