What would you say to your child?

If he said to his sitter "Sometimes I think you just pretend to have a bad belly (She has crohns) so you can get out of doing stuff with me." Then when she explained she couldn't skip home like he had asked he said "I don't want to hear about crohns as it makes me think of my bad belly that I once had so please don't talk about it anymore."

I'd say thank yourself lucky you haven't got it. We have a similar situation but with older children and it's really annoying.

I would explain the importance of empathy and then I would allow him the opportunity to apologize profusely.

First off, I'd probably beat the crap out of them.
1) If you have such a suspicion, you tell me
2) The child needs to be educated about what Crohn's does, then a little empathy should be shown. "You don't want someone telling YOU to shut up when you complain about feeling badly, do you?"
3) My child is not going to be that mouthy.
@xixgun you’d beat the crap out of your child? I hope you’re not a parent and never become one, with your child abusing desires it’s besf you stay childless.
