What’s something you find strange about British culture

Every country has their own traditions that some people will think are strange, but you don’t know they are strange because they are normal to you. So, me being a Brit, what is some of the things you from strange about British culture?

Driving on the LH side of the road. Are fish and chips still wrapped in newspaper?

@jackson55 I don't think driving on the left is any more bizarre than driving on the right. I recently watched Ken Burn's documentary "Road Trip". In the early days of the automobile, there were no laws at all in the United States as to where on the road you were supposed to drive. It was a free-for-all! (And he shows some old film footage that is hilarious.) Now THAT's bizarre!

@DrWatson It the early days of the car in the US some cars drove on the left, some on the right. Around 1910/1915 makers agreed to make cars LH drive and put passengers on the right to be closer to the curb. Otherwise you are right.
