What phrases did you used to hear that you rarely/don't hear anymore?

This was inspired by someone who said they didn't hear "it beggars belief!" anymore and dared me to say it in everyday conversation.

To be honest I don't use a lot of these "phrases" (or whatever the term is) but once I had a half-foreign friend who wasn't familiar with well known ones like once in a full moon and it made me think generally people use them quite a lot in everyday speech without thinking about it.
