What does it say about my mental health status if my shrink texts me on her day off to check on me?

My nurse practitioner who has been in the field for 25 years just texted me...and she just saw me thursday. I must be in rough shape. I dont feel like i am but i answered her honestly when she asked if i have suicidal thoughts. Thats probably it.

@SW-User It's mandatory once someone says they are suicidal

@Fernie Nah. They could've taken the easy road and just called Emergency Services Thursday or instructed him to just call them if the thoughts persisted. Calling to check in wasn't mandatory.

@SW-User Actually, I see that she didn't say she told the medical people, just her therapist so...you're probably right...the NP was concerned....as NP's usually are...waaay more than Doctors. My bad

@Fernie Its cool. It really does depend. They are definitely mandated when they express a specific plan.

@Fernie well she is who does my meds and everything for psych issues. I ued to see a dr for meds but i was delegated..
