What do you do when seething with anger?

@silentkillx2 I have trouble crying even when legitimately sad, let alone angry. I just get an exponentially building urge to destroy. Teach me your ways, as I think I would be in a better overall mental state if I could actually cathartically cry.

@UndeadPrivateer crying is one of the healthiest releases we have. Watch a sad movie to get it out of you if necessary, but get it out.

Well When you feel that way you could also try drawing, Draw out how your feeling maybe? Or listen to happy music

@silentkillx2 they are taught it is weak to, and generally told to ignore their feelings from a young age.

@silentkillx2 I used to cry a lot when I was young(like ~5), and my parents constantly told me to "shut up" and "stop crying." So I eventually did. Problem was it also eventually manifested in me just not being able to nearly at all, it'll just hang right at the edge of crying and not go over. That feeling of tension in your chest and the lump in your throat. It's fucking maddening.

For stuff that you dont even need to cry about so yeah i cry like a little bitch since i cry a lot

@UndeadPrivateer my mom does that to my little brother a lot as well even if he were to fall and hurt himself and im always just thinking damn hes a little boy let him cry, i understand not wanting your son to he a "punk " and cry for anything (like me 😊) but still lol its ok for them to cry at times nothing wrong with that

@silentkillx2 My home life has never been great, a lot of my crying was related to that. Right around 5 was when my parents divorced.
