Entitlement and those who feed into it.

@SW-User Particularly corporate entitlement if you ask me.

@BlueMetalChick One of the biggest cons is someone with hundreds of millions in profits from suppressed wages and skipped taxes pointing at some poor fuck on welfare and going "THAT GREEDY PIG"

@CountScrofula Which is why I was so endlessly satisfied by Amazon being shamed into paying a $15 per hour minimum wage. Khanna and Sanders proposed a bill that would tax corporations worth more than ten million dollars 100% for every cent in welfare spent on any employee of said corporation. So if an Amazon worker collected $300 in food stamps, Amazon would be taxed 100% on those three hundred bucks.

The bill didn't pass but it bullied Bezos into paying a living wage.

@BlueMetalChick Yeah, love that stuff. And do not love people hailing Bezos as some sort of saint because he was politically savvy enough to see he needed to stay a few steps ahead of an angry mob or wildcat strikes.

@BlueMetalChick Yeah, but...you know they actually screwed over employees in other ways after that?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@basilfawlty89 Yes, I do. Because you can never have something nice without taking away something else.

@BlueMetalChick Hence why we Anarchist say - politicians and CEOs won't give you rights, you need to take your rights.
