Are non-wealthy people always at a disadvantage?

I know some people who could be considered wealthy. Their lives seem so much easier and more exciting compared to mine.

For example, if they're having car problems...they simply just take it to the shop to get repaired. And for me, getting my car repaired might be my entire paycheck. Things like going to the dentist, buying new things, new clothes, taking a vacation, moving, etc. I simply don't have a suffice amount of income for these luxuries. No matter how much I work, I feel like I'm always 2 steps behind, financially speaking. It makes me somewhat jealous to know how rich some people are, and how little I have in life.

Can anyone relate?
