Are non-wealthy people always at a disadvantage?

I know some people who could be considered wealthy. Their lives seem so much easier and more exciting compared to mine.

For example, if they're having car problems...they simply just take it to the shop to get repaired. And for me, getting my car repaired might be my entire paycheck. Things like going to the dentist, buying new things, new clothes, taking a vacation, moving, etc. I simply don't have a suffice amount of income for these luxuries. No matter how much I work, I feel like I'm always 2 steps behind, financially speaking. It makes me somewhat jealous to know how rich some people are, and how little I have in life.

Can anyone relate?
Most people in the world can relate. This is what the capitalist system brings us. Only a small percentage of people hold most of the money. In this global system, those with less money are always at a disadvantage, yes. GDP does not measure satisfaction nor health of humans, only material/object worth.

when you have extra money you can stock up on things when they are on sale and don't always have to pay so much....

@cherokeepatti That's not the point.

@StrangeLife94 It is though. When you have money you can save money and get ahead a bit at a time. I know from experience.

@cherokeepatti Oh, well yeah, that's true.

I can but as much as wealthy have an easier life I think the non wealthy appreciate much more in life because we have to save for it and we don't take as much for granted as the wealthy do.

They are at a disadvantage where money is concerned but other problems still exist.
Having access to money is definitely easier, practically speaking. But it doesn't fix everything. Rich people are sometimes lonely, suffer from depression, lose loved ones, commit suicide and have problems---like everyone else. They also often have an extra question---does this person like ME, or do they just want something ?
