What happens when you are defined as unstable?

The new law in Florida makes me out to be a risk. The law allows them to seize guns and ammo from people who are considered to be a threat. The first person who was victimized was an Army veteran. I went and read the law. I don't feel like I should have to turn in my guns but it's like the law was written to take my guns away specifically. Maybe I need to get rid of my guns? I hate the idea of yielding my control of my life and the guns make me feel like I have some control. I am a veteran. I am a combat veteran. Maybe I am unstable.

Just bury them in a safe spot for when you do need them for when shit hits the fan globally.

I think I may just do that. It would be so much work though. I have lots. I am considering selling down my collection to a bare minimum then bury that. @SW-User

@Genieinabottle good idea, keep the arms where type of ammo is more available, 12g shotgun ammo you can do so much with it for bug out defence like perimeter booby traps or even explosive arrowheads for bow weapons.

@SW-User I agree the 12 g shotgun is the Premier must have survival weapon. I enhanced the capabilities of my break action 12g with a muzzle loading kit, and a set of adapters that let me fire (pretty accurately) about 12 handgun rounds from 32 to 44 mag and 10mm. I love the flexibility. I could get by with just that and a good pistol. I love so much of what I have though - it will be so hard to get rib guns I spent so much money and time collecting. It cannot be avoided though. I wish people would just leave me alone. I am no danger. They will mark me as a danger but I have been as I am for DECADES and never hurt anyone. I resent this law so much. I want to just move out of the state
