How drastic does the temperature change where you live?

Its 36 degrees Celsius right now which is about as hot as it gets and then it drops to -40 in the winter. That's 97 Fahrenheit and -40 Fahrenheit
I live in the south of England, a very warm day in winter might only be 1 or 2 degrees colder than a very cold rainy day in the summer.

@Gingerbreadspice wow that's wild
The average temperature is 5-9C in winter and can be anything from about 17-30C in summer. We had sun all day the other day but the next day it was 13 degrees colder cause it was raining.

It’s a gradual 10-20 degree shift throughout the day.

Max in my life time is 109F high and -16 low.

@hertoy that's quite the difference! 109 is brutal 😂

@SirEldridge With high humidity! Fortunately that's a record, not a common event

We can get up to 98 or even 101 Fahrenheit here, but it is also very humid, so it is complete misery when it gets that hot. Lots of lakes and ponds here. In the winter, lows can go down to -22, but more often it is -10 or -9.
One of the things I love is that the weather itself is not extreme. The hottest it gets here is the 80s (Fahrenheit) and coolest weather is maybe in the 40s. No snow, no hurricanes or tornadoes. Flooding in the northern areas sometimes, but rarely.

@bijouxbroussard this sounds pretty great
