I very much fear that this is how I perceive time, throughout my life.

@MushroomFaerie Yes, about how each time my age doubles, that appears to take the same amount of time. The time between my 6th birthday and 12th birthday feels the same as the time between my 12th birthday and my 24th birthday, etc.

@33person It happens to everybody. The first 5 years is your whole life then the next is half your life and so on until long periods of time become nothing and you die

@MushroomFaerie People need to know that earlier on in their lives so that it doesn't shock them and disappoint them.

@33person Well they do try to tell you 😂 but you don't hear it.
It's one of those things you learn yourself.
Even us talking about it now we still don't understand it the way we will later in life

@MushroomFaerie I honestly got told a lot, when I was a kid, that I had SO long left that I don't have to worry. Dead wrong.

@33person We all get told things that mess us up later in life, I think it's unavoidable.
