Seems that I was recently named in a post "I Was Catfished".

This is what may happens when someone seeks revenge.

I simply decided to cut off contact with this person. Rejection is often difficult.

It's how we deal with it that matters.

It would have been good let them know you had changed your mind.

The whole thing was your idea. Then ghosting like that while they sat and waited an hour in a hotel lobby...

There was no disrespect until that point.

And even then 'catfish' is a reasonable assumption given the circumstances.

Perhaps you are who you say you are. Perhaps not. At this point will never know.

At the very least it was rude.
