Which might cause you more of a stuggle....

Telling someone you love them... Or telling someone you don't love them back?
SW-User
Telling someone “I love you” is so easy for me because it’s true, I love the people in my life so I can say it without even thinking.

Sometimes rough winds take their toll on any relationship or friendship and after a time I have to let them know that I really don’t like you let alone love you but that has only ever happened with my sister because she needed to be told. After a decade of putting up with her jealousy, trouble making and lies I told her I didn’t want to see her again.... that was hard but life became better.... I could breathe easy again.

I took no pleasure in cutting out of my life, it hurt 😔 but I’m over it now because she is OK and as long as I know she is living her life and nothing serious has happened to her then I can carry on with my life easily too

@SW-User Wow.. Awesome step forward. Happy things worked out for you both. 🙂

@Pambi thank you lovely 😊 We see each other from time to time at our parents home. I offered to put our differences aside for the sake of our parents but my sister didnt want to meet me half way. All families have their ups and downs the most important thing is that we let go of the negative and try and move forward for everyone’s sake not just for the sake of my own and my sisters personal feelings

@SW-User I concur. Never an easy task.
I wanna say telling them you love. but the crap feeling of not loving back can be equally difficult! 😑

My go to response was "...Thanks!"

With a hug and kiss

@Teggy I get that. Both can be equally awkward.
Telling them you don't love them is the worst. Total anguish especially if they love you deeply.. ..

@Majorlatency Yeah... It's difficult when you know a broken heart hangs 8n the balance of your words.
@Pambi absolutely. I still feel bad when I think about it.
The latter. Its one thing to choose to put yourself out there. Having another's feelings in your control is a bigger responsibility.

@Callmewhatyouwill Well said... And I agree

The first for me.....

@Pambi cause the latter has been said back to me in those instances

@SW-User Yeah... That is definitely a factor in the equation as well.

Keep the past where it belongs Mr. K.

@Pambi 🤗💜

The first is more risky. The second one is more awkward.
Pambi · 26-30, F
@kate21 Indeed
GerOttman · 61-69, M
the second one, had to do that once and it sucked
Pambi · 26-30, F
@GerOttman Never easy.
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
The latter is more of a struggle.
Xuan12 · 31-35, M
The first one is harder for me.
Supesun · 56-60, M
Def the latter
Pambi · 26-30, F
@Supesun Yeah it's rough for sure.
Pambi · 26-30, F
@mindstruggle The vulnerability of both sides of this particular coin are often equal.
MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
Fuck being in love.. Lies
SerenitiesScars · 31-35, M
That I love them...

The other I no longer have a problem with... Since If I don't really love them it just means I have less feelings for me to care anyway...
MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
Oh and *struggle
ProThrall · 31-35, F
don't love them anymore
