At first I really hated the idea of him becoming president. I was almost ready to pack my bags and move to Canada. I was seriously ready to leave the country if he was elected. (I am just north of the border). When I found out he was going to run for president, I wanted to leave the country. I thought the whole election deal was a farce!

Then I did my research and discovered that he will do a much better job than any of the left wing/right wing parties that were in the running.
He is human and now carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. He is for the people, we would probably be in more turmoil if Hillary was elected! I did my research on all of them. I was going to vote for Jill Stein, but unfortunately she was out of the race from the start. I hated Obama, he did a terrible job through his years in office.

All of the good presidents are gone, even before the Reagan years. I wished I lived in the day when our Founding Fathers were in office. The US would be much different today. But times change and so do people within time.
I was born shortly after JFK and the presidency prior to him all had at least a moral compass for the people of this great nation.

Though I hate politics, I still like to study it. Our Founding Fathers who established our rights as citizens of the United States gave us our amendment's. Those amendment's are slowly being taken away by our own government. Its an attempt by the elite to try and rule the world with their NWO agenda. Not trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist but its actual fact. When you study history, you find truth.

@MamaButterfly If you hated Obama, you should also hate Trump. He's 85% the same as Obama in almost all areas where it matters. Same warmongering in the Middle East, same godawful tax plans that give all the benefits to the rich, same allowance for civil asset forfeiture by law enforcement, same outsourcing of jobs and support of free trade agreements. Trump and Obama share a lot more in common than they differ.
@BlueMetalChick I didn't say I hated Trump, I said that I hated the idea of him running for president and wanted to leave the country if he was elected. I am still here in the US and have seen him at work, I am giving him a chance. I want to see change in this country, though I don't approve of all of the choices he makes especially in the area of immigration and the separation of family. He just stopped the order of separation of families crossing the border. I appreciate that of him. If I went to Canada illegally, I think I could still see my family. This order may be good for those who want to go to a new country. I do and don't appreciate foreign trade, like buying at Walmart because I know how the child labor laws are on the other side of the world, like China. I would rather buy my merchandise at "mom & pop' stores then a big world wide corporation like Walmart. Trump is trying to bring jobs back to America for the American people. He may be for the rich, but he is still for the people.

@MamaButterfly My favorite part was this line right here.
Trump is trying to bring jobs back to America for the American people.
Is that maybe why he's outsourced 93,000 jobs in one year? Because he's trying to bring back jobs? Is that why he renegotiated NAFTA to ship even more jobs overseas? Or why he's floating the idea of running back into the TPP? Or why he signed an executive order cutting union pay? He's doing exactly the same shit Obama did when it comes to jobs, and that's nothing but harm for the working class.
