Now let me get this straight. Children are separated from adults until proper documentation can be secured, have been for 20 years according to Federal law, and suddenly, as the IG holding hearings that are particularly damaging to democrats, that is cruel and inhumane treatment and that there is no such law. So President Trump signs an EO halting the program, and democrats discover that President Trump was correct, there is a Federal law, and now are filing more lawsuits than Carter has Little Liver Pills to override the EO, claiming that President Trump overstepped his authority by enacting an EO overriding a Federal law, and is acting as Emperor. Is that correct, or am I missing something obvious?

@sunsporter1649 there is no federal law stipulating child separation from adult parents or guardians.

@CopperCicada You mean the Flores Decree from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals does not exist?

@CopperCicada No, it just demands that children be reunited with their families prior to 20 days. Now how do you propose to assure that the children are with their parents?
