What would it be like if no one had guns?

What would our country be like if none of had guns? Would the police need guns? I wonder. The military would be armed of course, but they're prohibited by law from interfering in civilian affairs. Hunters? Maybe something could be worked out -- black powder, bow and arrow, single shot shotgun? It would be nice it we could have this debate.

@HerKing I know how I will perform. I have a loaded gun in every room in my house. They have to get through several doors and know which room I am in before I can get my hands on one.

I don’t drink wine and am a light sleeper.

This is something you should plan and train for and not leave to chance.

I would not wish this on anyone.

@USMCGUY You make a good point...Plan and train for'..It's a rough guess but I'll go with the majority who own firearms in civilian life have never practiced in CQB.. Most won't even know what it means.
