@mazza62 Oh, I'm aware of that. But in an ideal climate, barefoot is the way, I think.

My feet are tough, thick and conditioned enough to handle cold weather. If you go barefoot a lot, then you’ll get used to tough surfaces and intense weather.

Sounds wonderful to have such warm weather. It rains here most of the year and generally cold. Last summer was first warm one for 10 years. Highest around 75. Never above 80.
