I think that making offending someone a crime is a very dangerous thing to normalise as some people seem to be offended just by being alive.

@AlienZipper also in canada you can be prosecuted for not using the correct gender pronoun when addressing someone.

@ZenKitzune Oh I have no doubts...and all because a minority of people can't handle any sort of negativity. Not having your feelings hurt isn't a basic human right... it's called life, and it's been going on for millennia, and will continue despite the efforts to stop it....

@AlienZipper Schools and universities are becoming places that produce this mentality now. At the time when ideas should be tossed around and sorted out, we are telling kids what to think and when instead.
