As you've grown older...

Might you find yourself a bit disappointed that quicksand is not really a threat?
newbie31-35, F
what do you mean?
SW-User
@newbie I agree, it can be, but not to the degree as portrayed in Hollywood over the years.

@SW-User in any case i guess it's never a real threat for those living in cities where all the ground is paved ;-)
SW-User
@newbie True that. 馃槉 Nature is scary! Keep it outdoors. 馃槣

'Quicksand' takes other forms !
Health issues; financial issues; work issues etc.
Pambi26-30, F
@Picklebobble2 Hmmm..a metaphorical sense I had not pondered.
No but I always thought catching on fire would be a much bigger risk than it is. All that stop trip and roll training for nothing.

@Callmewhatyouwill I remember hearing on the radio, PSA's about being buried alive. Don't fake your death, you could be... buried alive.馃槺

Yes but you don't want to waste a lot of time stuck in the mud either
Pambi26-30, F
@Jibby 馃幍..I'm...the man in the box... buried iiiin my...馃幍

This was something I knew very early on.

@SW-User Took me awhile. Always wondering if someone would lob me a branch.

@Pambi *tosses you a rope and a branch*

@FreeSpirit1 Tick... tock. When I was nine and playing in the woods, quicksand was the utmost in imaginary foes.
