To only care about people who are physically sick and dying?

Does anyone find this hypocrite? Like what about people who arent physically ill/dying? If they suffered from mental illness would you care about them then? Why does someone have to be on their death bed or suffering a debilitating visible physical illness to be treated with compassion? Why does it have to get to that?

There are many specialties in the medical field, I have several heart doctors so why should they run off to delivery babies?

@Mondayschild im just wondering why when someone is sick and dying people want to care then but they were well no one gave a care and why are people who suffer from things like depression and mental illnesses looked over?
