Deep breath....

As a 25-year-old single woman I’m pretty much living in the thickest part of the modern hookup culture –

Perfecting the art of getting the right guy to buy you a drink at a bar, crafting the perfect response to a text to make you seem just interested enough, taking the proper five seconds to adequately judge a person and determine whether or not to swipe left or right on Tinder. That’s the world I live in.

I have to confess: I hatefully despise it with every day lighted fiber of my being.

i can understand why you hate it, just reading your description of it made me a bit nauseous. this is why I'm not on tinder. it has reduced romance and love to one night hook ups. its a sad time for romantics. i miss the days where we took time to know each other and it took weeks or months before we had sex. the love came first and then the sex not the other way around.
