Do you believe coffee causes cancer?
Pambi · 26-30, F
@jackson55 Well if it does I'm in trouble. I drink it all day long.

[@ You and me both, I've been drinking coffee for along time. I've never seen a cancer warning on any coffee cup.
Pambi · 26-30, F
@jackson55 Me either.. California just made it a new law.
jackson55 · M
[@ Doesn't suprise me, California makes a lot of crazy laws.
xSharp · 31-35, M
@jackson55 i read somewhere that the average american gets 90% of their daily anti oxidants from coffee, anti oxidants help clear out free radicals which can turn into cancer cells, so coffee actually fights cancer before it starts.

@xSharp Sounds good to me.
Pambi · 26-30, F
@xSharp some type of carcinogenic that is released during the roasting of beans they say. I'm brewing a fresh pot however.

[@ Sounds like some crazy California beaurocrat had nothing to do one day and had to make a new law.

@Pambi acrylamide, its mostly found in high carb foods cooked at a high temp like bread french fries and cookies, so the amount in coffee is far less than in those other high carb foods,

the cali bill is a cash grab, people just dont know any better

@xSharp Most of the new taxes in California are called Jerrys pension tax. California owes state employees so much money they will never be able to pay it.
