I think men should make females sign contracts that states neither party wants to become a parent, what are your thoughts

Im watching this tv show about mens reproductive rights. I think it is some cases unfair for a man to forced into fatherhood/ child support, such as this girl told her bf after they had discussed not wanting children and she claimed to have a medical condition that prevents pregnancy but still on the pill for medical reasons then got pregnant anyway and chose to keep the child. I thinks it's unfair in some cases (that's where it gets tricky) like when deliberately get pregnant without informing the male. It's just something to ponder. But I think it can be unfair that men have no rights and they should try contracts signed by both parties

A man can control when he does or doesn't have sex and who he has sex with. If he doesn't want to become a parent, then he should be taking steps to ensure that he won't - either by prophylactics, abstinence, or choosing to only having sex with someone he has vetted as being emotionally stable, who will responsibly ensure her birth control regimen is followed. If either party was told they can't have kids, would you hold the physician who made that diagnosis accountable (no you wouldn't). NO birth control method is 100% effective except not having sex. Misdiagnoses of infertility happen.
Procreation from failed BC or assumed infertility was a risk they both willingly took. It is absolutely fair both parties be held responsible for that unintended pregnancy if she chooses not to terminate.

@Starcrossed what if she lied?

@abe182 Then his character vetting is pretty shitty.

Agree!.. but goodluck tryin to get any politician to change any rules in favor of men over women in situations you pointed out

I agree! That is why men are going MGTOW and not getting married.

It's funny how they mention "men's rights." What rights? They don't have any to begin with.

If a guy doesn't want kids, it's well within his control to do a very good job of ensuring he doesn't get a woman pregnant. Abstinence, condoms, vasectomy etc. Don't put his not wanting kids but getting a woman pregnant onto the woman. Even if she says she can't have kids, things happen. Caveat emptor if he's dumb enough to take the risk

I think if she says no it's rape. That's a verbal understanding. If she says she's fixed and can't have kids that should also be a verbal understanding.

I say caveat emptor. By the time she is preggers it's too late anyway

Some women are told they can’t have children by doctors and do end up pregnant. Happened to a girl I knew since she was a teen she was told she’d never conceive. Quite a shock for her when ended up pregnant almost 4 years ago. But I do think the issue surrounding trap pregnancy should be reviewed
