True love. I couldnt care less for money.. But I desire a best friend that I can truly love and feel connected to.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Sintariel A best friend is not someone you love. Friendship is a far, far more important bond than love is. Friendship is the strongest and most genuine connection two humans can have, love is just greed and insecurity.
Sintariel · 26-30, F
Speak for yourself. As someone who has given trust, love, care and money into numerous friendships only to have gotten stabbed in the back I'd sooner say to hell with friends. I only need one person I can truly love. People arent worth shit beyond that.
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick I disagree. Friendships are very important but choosing to build a life together and tough it out through the good and bad is a much stronger bond. If it's love there shouldn't be freed and insecurity
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Sintariel Then they either were not friends, or you're a shitty friend. I'm inclined to believe the former because you didn't stab them in the back which means you're probably not shitty. Friendship, when it is real, is something priceless. Love is something worthless.
NewBeginnings7790 · 41-45, F
@BlueMetalChick Love when it’s actually true is not worthless.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@NewBeginnings7790 Love is really just a cry for attention, it's a need for validation from someone else. Which...I guess is at least better than nothing.
NewBeginnings7790 · 41-45, F
@BlueMetalChick I’m sorry you feel that’s all it is, because it can be so much more with the right person.
Sintariel · 26-30, F
I can only assume you've either had as bad relationships as I've had friendships.. Or never tasted actual love beyond the basic desire.. Because where so called friends I offered everything in my life to, be it all from money to just entire nights of listening to their issues or sacrificing what I wanted to do so that I could be with them.. Never have I felt as happy as I was when in love.
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick you've clearly been burned and its damaged your view on love. Hope you realize thats a problem worth getting over
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@somethingIsuppose Nice assumptions. Nope, never been burned, not even once. I'm completely disinterested in love and have never been in love. I look down on people who value love because to me it seems so pathetic.

You've obviously been led on or taken advantage of and now you think love is a valuable thing. Hope you realize that's a problem worth getting over.
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick someone's a defensive little nugget haha. To each his own, and I hope you have something else that gives you as much happiness as my fiance gives me
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@somethingIsuppose Yes, usually when someone accuses you of something you tend to be defensive about it. And you accusing me of "being burned" does not make me happy, because you have no idea if that's true or not, you just assume it. And you're, y'know, wrong. Cos you just made some shit up trying to sound edgy.

But it makes sense now, you have a fiance, which tells me that if you're seeking marriage, you must have pretty serious self hatred problems. I'm sorry to hear that.
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick you shouldnt let other people get you so angry. Its just the internet.

And actually I've been divorced too and didn't ever want to marry again. But my gf/ fiance showed me something I didn't think was possible. Like I said I'm happy, and I hope you are too
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@somethingIsuppose I'm not as angry as I seem, I just sound that way cos I curse too much. People think I'm constantly angry when really I just talk like I am.

Well now that makes even more sense, you've been burned in a divorce and now you're seeking redemption.
Sintariel · 26-30, F
@BlueMetalChick At this point I must wonder if you're a troll or not.. Not often you hear someone call a normal and basic human emotion for pathetic and worthless. Did your parents betray you when you were younger? Thats neither an accusation nor an insult, mind. Just reading the replies brought the stories of people who were not provided with proper love growing up and ended up emotionally handicapped..
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick see now your making assumptions. Not everyone is going to value what you do and if they're not affecting you're and they say they're happy why are you so bothered by it.

And quite frankly the only one who got burned in my divorce was my ex. Which I feel bad about and have since tried to better myself
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Sintariel Surprisingly, no. It makes sense why you would think that but in all honesty, my parents were very good to me. My father still is, he and I are very close.

I'm a bizarre person with abnormal thought processes, partly because I have an unnatural brain chemistry. My hormones are pretty fucked. And also in part because I'm addicted to psychedelic drugs like LSD and magic mushrooms, which leads me to form outlandish and unnecessarily specific philosophies.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@somethingIsuppose I know I'm making assumptions, that was the point, I was trying to be sardonic. So you would see that it's not right to assume things about others. I have no idea whether or not what I said was true, that was the intention.
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick I love shrooms and acid don't blame your negative attitude in that. Because they only draw out what's truly deep inside your brain
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@somethingIsuppose I'm not blaming a negative attitude on it, I'm saying it exacerbates my already very strange ideas and thoughts.
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick from how much you despise true love from you're responses it was more of an educated guess but if you say I'm wrong I'll take your word for it. Doesn't affect my life one bit
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@somethingIsuppose Such is the nature of internet arguments, I suppose, it's almost like you're forced to make those kinds of guesses because if you didn't, it's not like someone else is gonna leap right into telling you everything about them.
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick I myself am quite strange and my thoughts don't really seem to match up with too many. That's why my bubble (the people I actually care about) is very small. And every one else could spontaneously combust for all I care
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@somethingIsuppose We are quite different then, my bubble is larger than most people. But that might just be personal preference I guess.
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@BlueMetalChick I mainly use this site for boredom relief and to gain some perspective of how some people's brains just differ sooo far from mine. It's quite interesting
